(1) If a foreigner of Nepalese origin living abroad wants to live in Nepal or to study, teach or do research on any subject, he and his family can be granted a non-residential Nepalese visa.
(2) Schedule-3A for visa as per sub-rule (1). An application can be made through the Nepalese mission abroad or directly to the department in the following format.
(3) The visa as per sub-rule (1) can be granted once for a maximum period of ten years and it can be extended as per the need.
